January 12th - 'The Anglo Saxon Village'

An interesting view of our past which has so far escaped close attention. A talk by our local expert, Christopher Taylor.

February 9th - 'Genealogy'

Anyone wishing to trace their family tree will be helped by this talk from a member of the Cambridge Family History Society.

March 9th - 'The South Pole'

A talk by a member of the Scott Polar Institute.

April

April 6th - 'The Gardens of Easton Lodge'

An illustrated talk by the present owner, Brian Creasey. The Talk covers the history of the house, the owners and the Gardens as originally laid out and now restored.
Not a mistake - this meeting has to be held on the first Thursday.

'The Gog Magog Trust'

A talk by Lucy Evans and/or Jane Randall.

The History of Denny Abbey

An illustrated talk by Jeremy Rositta.

Visit to Bridge End Gardens

This year it has been decided to visit Bridge End Gardens, Saffron Walden, instead of the usual talk. Details later re. transport & assembly time.
